Albertans are paying more and getting less. It’s time to fix Alberta’s failed experiment of electricity deregulation. Unravelling the mystery of this market-fundamentalist experiment they show how Alberta can bring prices back under control and plan better for a new era of electrification as we decarbonize our economy.

The report describes how reregulation will transform the Alberta electricity grid by eliminating price gouging and establishing a new, provincially-owned Crown corporation and a provincial financing entity.
